We understand that you have a choice when it comes to your health.  When you choose Total Bodywork rest assured that you will receive first class customer service and attention.  You can also expect to receive the best overall care so you know that you've made the right decision by choosing chiropractic. To give you a better understanding of what to expect as a new patient, we have put together the following information for you.

Your First Visit

You will receive personalized one-on-one time with the doctor to assure that a proper case history is obtained and that all of your concerns are addressed. An exam will then be conducted so either Dr.Tovar or Dr. Garza can evaluate your situation. Because your situation and body structure are unique, x-rays or other diagnostic tests may be required.  If you are required to have x-rays, they will be performed on your first visit unless circumstances require you to have diagnostics off-site.  In addition to this, you may receive therapy to help reduce pain and provide muscle relaxation.  Please be aware that you will not be adjusted on this visit. Upon completion of your therapy, our friendly staff will check you out and schedule you for the following day.  You can expect this visit to take approximately an hour and a half.

Your Second Visit

After a thorough review of your information, you will be given a full Report of Findings by either Dr. Tovar or Dr. Garza.  The doctor will explain exactly what is wrong, if chiropractic can help, how long it will take to correct the problem and the estimated cost of your specific treatment plan. Any additional question you may have will be answered and your chiropractic care will begin.  Your first adjustment will be performed on this visit.  Again this visit will also take approximately an hour and a half, but rest assured that all future treatment visits will require much less time.  We are dedicated to providing you with the highest quality of care and look forward to serving you.
